Who’s the Gal, What She Writes

If every coin has two sides, so have I. At one side, I am a fashion business school graduate, a graphic design drop-out student and an employee. On the other side, I am a travel blogger.

I initially created this blog to document all my travel experiences into an online travel diary. Over time, I would like to add more value of this blog by helping fellow travelers to inspire what could (not) be your next bucket list and how to reach and spend time in your dream destinations without breaking your bank account.

Therefore, I share favorite and less-known places, hotel, restaurant reviews and tips to travel comfortably on a budget. I disclose best, worst and weirdest things I experience during my travels, both overseas and in my hometown Indonesia as honest as I can be.

Apart from that, I portray richness, uniqueness and cultural diversity around the world with my camera, since they often say more than words can say.

I suggest you to embrace both good and bad experiences you have in your travels and remember that a perfect travel itinerary is not always a guarantee for a flawless journey. It is okay to make mistakes sometimes and there are times when flaws are just inevitable no matter how many travel books or online travel tip articles you’ve read. It’s not always your or someone else’s fault when shit happens.

What matters the most is that you learn from it and look at the bright side of every single thing you remember about your travels. One day, it will be memorable and you may laugh at yourself and think it’s funny.

Yeah, I really feel that way over the years!

After many years of traveling, I’ve got more opportunities to broaden my horizon about culture, people, art, history, norms, values when I’m abroad and learn to respect every single thing about it.

May the spirit of travelling be with you!
